mates4health e.V. was founded to build a committed community dedicated to the promotion of science and education in the medical and social sectors, both locally and globally.

We see the deep-rooted global inequalities in healthcare and education and strive to callenge these through collaboration, mutual learning and resource-sharing. Our focus is on supporting locally driven initiatives, amplifying existing expertise and ensuring that solutions are shaped by those who know their communities best.

We want to build bridges. Our goal is to create an inclusive and sustainable global health community - one built on respect, transparency, collaboration and empowerment, where everyone has the right to access healthcare, education and opportunities to shape their own future - regardless of geographical, socio-economic or cultural differences.

Education & Science

At mates4health, we believe that education and knowledge are the foundation for sustainbale change.

Our members come from a diverse backgrounds, bringing a variety of experiences and a lot of creativity to the table. We actively engage in local and global educational projects, fostering mutual knowledge exchange and providing valuable learning opportunity.

In addition, we participate in scientific research because we think, there are no one-size-fits-all solutions. We believe that evidence-based insights, combined with local knowledge and lived experiences, provide a solid foundation for stakeholders- whether policy makers, ministries or funders - to make informed decisions that lead to meaningful change.

At mates4health, we believe that an open and vibrant communication culture is essential for sustainable development. That is why we prioritize transparent communication and education to raise awareness of the current situation in the countries of our partner projects, as well as in other countries of the so-called Global South.

We aim to sensitize people of all ages to adopt a tolerant attitude of openness and respect for the differences that exist among individuals, cultures and nations. Through focused public relations efforts, scientific publications and events, we try to make important research findings and social discussions accessible to the broader public, so that all sides can learn from each other.
